    Sounds like the dealer that screwed up the repair will fix it for you if you get the car over to them? That sounds like the way to go. Maybe FCA could pick up the diagnosis fee at the place the car is at now and you pay for the tow to the dealer. This way you both save money and the other dealer can put it through their insurance / eat the cost as good will.

    No worries.

    And yeah, that's what I'm about to try and make happen essentially. It would be significantly cheaper for FCA and for me for that to happen. The offer was only ever made verbally, but the other dealer have been really professional and honorable so far, so hopefully they won't go back on that.

    I look forward to hearing that all goes well.

    I assume the PO let the dealer know the car was being towed, 4 on the ground. That's the sort of thing a dealer might enter into their maintenance tracking software. I know things go wrong with that method, but a clutch wouldn't be one of them.
