    Tbody plate.

So, got a question. I know back in the day you could put a plate under carbs to get a better fuel air mixture.
I was looking through ngen and euro compulsion. I found a tbody plate. Back to my question, does it do anything, or is it strictly for adding something like nos or methanol?

I assume you refer to this part. https://ngencustomsandperformance.co...t-applications

That's one of the products I laugh at. Cravenspeed at least adds a tap for some functionality, so you can add water/methanol injection or a boost gauge. I think the other claims are bogus, but I'm sure someone has had a cosmic experience.

The sellers are passing along Cravenspeed's claim of bolt-on power, which echos other maker's claims. That "technology" came out before WWII, maybe first with the Whizgig, a fan blade you put atop a carburetor to tumble your intake air and add 20% to your HP and MPG. They were sold in JC Whitney along side magnets that ionized gasoline as if flowed to the carb. Some makers of throttle body spacers add ribs for extra driving pleasure.

For "breathing easier" claims, I'd prefer the healing power of crystals, and I quote an article...
    "Save Fuel With Crystals"

Crude oil from which your motor fuel is derived, is a natural resource that cannot be replaced and once this energy source is depleted a new source of energy would have to be found. Since it is the only source of energy we have at present to propel our motor vehicles we are duty bound not to waste this energy but to use it prudently and wisely. Crystals mounted on your fuel line will not only increase the performance of your motor vehicle but reduce the fuel consumption. Select clear Quartz point about the size of your little finger and after cleansing the crystal, program it to release its fuel saving energy. Mount the Crystal on the fuel line from the tank with the faceted point facing the carburettor (sic) or fuel injection system. You can use insulation tape to strap the crystal to the fuel line. Every time you use your car, mentally tune into the crystal with Love and Light and instruct it to release its fuel saving energy. If you go on a long trip, check your fuel gauge and mentally tune in to your crystal at the same time, the fuel saving is quite amazing and really noticeable.

I didn’t think to point out. Save a little more money to buy an actual throttle body. I never got a baseline on my car before it but other than a K&n drop in, cut up air box and at the time a muffler delete and probably 40k+ miles on the plugs, the car just put down 190ft lbs to the wheels. That’s over the 180 at the crank that it’s rated for.
That and the butt dyno saw an improvement from day one.

The goal is to get as many aftermarket parts as you can possibly bolt on to your car, don't get hung up on whether they make any sense at all. Besides, the spacer does come with a snake oil injection port!

I’ve owned 40 new and used cars, in my life time. I recommend Using this turbine product. Easy to install, in minutes. ICE, Diesel and electric vehicles. They had a April 1 special ever year. Improved performance, fuel enconomy. You can turn any vehicle, into a turbo power car. On EV vehicles, improves your climate control system. This guy I know, who owns a Suzuki samurai. He’s installed, one on his car. He’s pushing 150 hp now.

    Vortex booster.

They sell the product on Amazon now......

Magnets. You gotta put magnets in the intake.

You can save $50 (or more) by making your own fuel ionizer system.

In the muscle car world, this could be a legit mod and we used spacers to tune the intake track. They also could insulate and help keep the carb and fuel cool, which is good for performance and could help with vapor lock problems. Old cars back then had that issue.

Never thought about it on an Abarth.
