    P0073 / U110E code 2014 Fiat 500L

    Hello,

The P0073 /U110E on my dad’s 2014 Fiat 500L popped up. It also shows service engine and service transmission (hence the U110E). My code reader shows Ambient Air Tenperature Sensor Circuit High. Has anyone had this issue?
    Where is the sensor located?

The car runs fine (even the dreaded DDCT) seems to shift fine.

    Thanks!

I assume it's the same as the 500 and 500X, in the passenger side mirror. If it's going bad, the dash thermometer will usually show an invalid temp reading.

I know that at one point, the temperature was --C then it showed the proper temperature. I'll see how easy it is to check for a loose connection or ground issue. Thanks for the info.

    Taken from another forum:

" There are two locations for the ambient temperature sensors; one below the passenger side mirror (looks like a little bump) and one in the passenger foglight bezel somewhere behind the hole. "

If it does turn out to be the sensor, Romanoaf found a solution for the 500... if you are good with a soldering iron.
