Question Recommendation for Tint% of Front and Rear Lights

I've searched around for a bit and couldn't find anything on recommendations for tint on the front headlights/turn signal lights and the tail lights.
I can find my own brand just looking for pictures with different tint levels between 5%-20% and 35%.

Sorry if this has been posted before. Appreciate it.

0%. Lights are meant to illuminate things. Tinting them makes them illuminate less.

To each his own. The lights on these cars barely illuminate the road at night as it is. Heck, I have an old school three D cell Maglight flashlight that puts out more light than these headlights.

    Just sayin'....

Like everyone said, it's personal preference AND if having tinted headlights/taillights is legal in your state. I wrapped mine on vinyl to tone down the silver a little bit AND if I get in trouble for them I can easily remove them (instead of actually painting the lamps).
The film is pretty translucent but makes a huge difference when it's on. I believe the film is 15% tint - meaning 85% of the light shines through. I did, however, upgrade my headlights to LED so they are much brighter than the stock HIR2 bulb. I also wrapped the fogs in golden yellow, overall I have no issues seeing at night and I'm pleased with the look. (IL just made these illegal this year, but mine don't look dark enough to be pulled over for it...at least compared to some I have seen out on the road.) - fingers crossed here.
Pic is the front - same film on taillights
