I thought of that, and I love your suggestion of just changing the driver's side quarter. Thanks!

It's not too difficult to pull the seats, sill trim and carpet. Center consoles are usually filthy too so it's great to pull them out for cleaning, as shown below. I do this to most used cars that I buy because I hate dirty cars and I love the fresh, clean smell when everything is like new.

Most of the time I will pull the carpet out, vacuum it, and then spray Simple Green or other detergent on it. Follow up by hosing it off with a garden hose and nozzle using plenty of water to rinse out the soda and coffee that has inevitably soaked in, and then drape it over saw horses or garbage bins or whatever you have to dry on a windy day like we have today in New England! Just don't let it blow away. The sun works well too.

    Looks good. Nice and clean......

You disconnect the car battery, before disconnecting seat harness airbag, and removing the seats?

That's what I did when I replaced the broken cable seat lever.

Speaking of, while doing that job, I managed to loose one of those little grey clips that locks the (airbag?) plug/harness under the seat. I had to unplug then replug, and without that clip, it was necessary to make use of additional words. Are those clips available somewhere?
It's that big plug in the front of your picture. The grey clip is on one side of the black plug. NBD, but if I"m going to remove the seats again, I'd like to fix that!

I'm almost certain that those clips don't come separately. If you enjoy buying parts from pick and pull junkyards as I do, then grab one when you are there! I always make a list of the little stuff I need because it's easy to forget. If this coronaroni ever ends I'm going to start exploring some New England junkyards. I'm new to the area so hoping there are some good ones.
