    fake Alfa?

My sister was at Florence Oregon (Oregon coast) and snapped a couple pictures of this car. It's marked as an Alfa, but it's hard to tell. Unfortunately, no front shot because the owner was in the tavern glaring at anyone who looked at the car. The radiator cap is no help, a Boyce Motometer winged unit, common aftermarket.

In any case, it's an interesting looking car, authentic looking.

That might not be a Alfa. Check out the British flag on the side of it. Then there’s a Italian flag badge above that. A quarter leaf badge right behind the radiator.

It does say Alfa chrome badge on the side of it. Lots of badges, and stickers

It's difficult with cars from that era. So much is custom coach built.

It is nicely done. I think those are Model A wheels, chromed. I wonder what that side shaft, just ahead of the rear wheel, is.

If it were a Alfa, wouldn’t the word special on the hood, be in Italian? “Speciale”. It looks like a 1920’s era vehicle.

    Yeah, that's the one.

There's a company in S America that makes exact replicas, down to casting the engines. Leno got his assembled in 2012, for under 1/2 million, about 10% the value of the original. He said there were 8 originals built and this company had also built 8, I think he said. "This could be a family car." - Leno
