Fiat 500 Abarth focused mechanic around Portland, Oregon?
I was looking for some shop recommendations for my Abarth 500. I have some fairly straight forward mods that need to be done, but the HOA where I live does not allow me to wrench on the car in the parking lot. Any suggestions would be helpful.
I haven't had a car repaired in Portland, but you could check on alternatives. There used to be a couple storage centers that would allow minor work to be done, if it's in the unit (parts not scattered about outside the unit). You could also check with your local community college. If the instructor finds it instructional, it can be worked into a curriculum.
I've worked out of here before. Gearhead Garage In Tigard though not Portland proper. Nice facility and not outrageously expensive. The owner is a good guy and knows his stuff I saw him jump in to answer questions in the bay next to one I was in. Have lifts in some of the bays and tools available if needed. At some point I'll need to find a mechanic for stuff I'm just unwilling to do so I'll follow this thread as well.
Did you ever find a good mechanic or shop to service your Abarth? I just bought a 2013 Abarth with 85K miles and thinking of getting some things serviced before I start putting more mileage on the car.
