Sometimes it's fun to drive to the end of the road to see what's there.

Actually, this was where the pavement ended and gravel started. The gravel is pot holed deep enough to scuff the engine pan. Fortunately, I found a wide spot (paced off at 14 feet), which was a challenge turn around. It's moss covered mud into a ditch on the right, a drop into the river on the right.
It's a fun drive... an exhibit of last year's burn, wind damage, new growth and moss covered old trees. This hiking bridge didn't fare well.
That's life in Oregon's rain forest. As a souvenir, I brought my share of forest debris home. It's really a trip for my PU, but my Dox likes to take rides and prefers the 500.
