    Display in metric?

I was driving this morning and noticed that the display in my 2018 500X was in metric. Must have hit a button. I scrolled through the menu and found how to change from KPH to MPH but my odometer and temperature are all still in metric. I checked my owners manual but could not find an answer.

I feel like a doofus. I must be missing something!?

    Any help will be appreciated!

You can change the odometer from Miles to kilometers at any time by pushing “ok” on the steering wheel. However, this will not change your temperature nor anything else but the speed. To change to imperial, go to the Uconnect settings. I can’t remember right now where, but there you’ll find the option.

Yep... my 2018 Pop reset itself twice, so you may not have done anything. Once it switched to metric and Italian. (It's not a language choice in the menu... and the menu still showed English.) The second time it did like yours, reset to metric. The first time I had to use uConnect (stereo) menu to change half the settings and the speedo menu to change the other half.

If you are near a dealer, the simplest way is to take it in and have them change the settings. It's a free service at my dealer.

Have you referred to the 500X owners manual? PDF ones on line. There is a Fiat app, you can down load. To your iPhone, or iPad too. Go to the Apple App Store.

    Thanks, that was it.

What is odd, though, is that the setup for units was still checked Miles. Once I toggled between Miles and Metric the display went back to miles. Go figure?

Mine did similar. I selected Spanish, then toggled back to English to clear, with the wording changing both times.

My nephew said it was going back to its roots, after I put an Italian phrase on the car.
