It'll be a great year but got off to a shaky start. Illegal mortar shells from dark until 1 AM launched the dogs into my bed to hide under the covers.
I'm considering hiring a robo-dial service to call them in the same hours for the next week. $90 for 1000 calls sounds like a bargain. "Happy New Year and thanks for the mortar attack."

Yeah, that's pretty annoying. We've got a neighbor like that too. Usually I have to work early the next day when they pull stuff like that.

Afternoon y'all. I wasn't intending to post here until I had a job to be bored at but that has encountered a dead end for the time being.

Looks like I need to convert more of my car shopping time to job hunting time. Owell, seems like the more cars I test drive the more I like my Abarth anyway.

Also the more I research the Veloster N the more a single fact depresses me. So many new owners are posting saying that they love how small and light the V-N is. It's a GTI rival... it's Golf size and weight. It's not a small car and furthermore it has a 19' turning radius. Why does everything think it's such a good city car? Sure, maybe some of them came from SUVs or CUVs or big beefy sedans, but 3100lbs isn't light to me anymore.

Toyota is making a fun small car, but naturally the US isn't getting it (and it will probably be $32,000+) so pretty much the only lightweight practical car left that I would even consider owning is a Honda Fit? Ack!

    When did 3000lbs become lightweight?

    /rant

Are you telling me the European 595 gained 500+ lbs since I checked last? 0.o

And yes, yes I am shaming them.

This is the future, why can't we figure out how to make a light weight cabin that is silent when I want it to be and full of exhaust noise when I want it?!?

(I think I need two cars...)

and then a rwd ~300hp(or more) with a six(or better) speed, flame spitting -3 mpg fun car for the weekends
