    Centoventi concept

I think every Fiat owner has seen the Centoventi concept. I hadn't seen this video before.

The car is probably the first to be designed specifically for car wraps.

With ads turned on, videos are clipped, so you might want to watch it here.

I watched that a couple months ago on You Tube. Not crazy about all the stick on stuff, on the dashboard. During a front end collision. The airbags would blow all that stuff in your face. A sound system, isn’t offered. You provide your own Bluetooth speaker. I do like the optional of add on battery range. The child car seat isn’t practical. It’s Only useable on that specific vehicle.

The concept is still a small sedan, hatchback. Not a crossover or SUV. Fiat just doesn’t understand the NA market here. Cool little car though.

If that add on stuff makes it into the marketplace, I wouldn't worry about that blowing off when an airbag goes off. The test the hell out of stuff like that and that would be a big fat lawsuit - at least in this county. LOL

What nice about inter changeable panels. If you damage one. Replacement is pretty easy. That why I bought my old smart car back in 2008. A pickup trail hitch backed up on to my plastic hood. Scraped it up. 100 bucks, for a replacement correct color replacement hood. No trip to a bodyshop. For any of the panels. Changing the cars color could be $$$$$. About $1,000, for all the panels.

Ironic... I sent the video and the same comments about the peg board dash parts flying around. My Sidekick got smacked from the rear on the freeway. I was OK, but a spiral ring notebook flew back (from the dash) so hard that it left stripes in the rear window. I shudder to think about it being fresh-brewed coffee.

I found it interesting that they said Fiat might offer patterns for some of the parts, everything from custom wraps to items that could be 3D printed. You could use one of their factory patterns, or they'd print your own design. Imagine, go to the mall and come back to a new "paint" scheme. As if I didn't have problems finding my Fiat as it is.

I love how light the seats/components are. Just thinking about pulling the removable seats from our Caravan threatens a retroactive hernia. I also wonder how much range the tiny under-seat battery pack would have. I assume that's more of a gimmick than a serious addition, but shows out-of-box thinking that went into this car.
