Just had the same exact problem! Got to the point where the vehicle would not start so had to get it towed in. Turns outs there was a water leak that fried the Radio Frequency Hub unit which is supposedly responsible for the keyless access system.

Do you know what the part number is for this? I think I may have a similar issue, but I can't find any parts actually called 'Radio Frequency Hub', although I was able to find a TSB referencing this exact thing. Do you know if it was this thing?

Considering where the RF Hub is located (In the rear ceiling) the RF Hub is vulnerable to a leaky sunroof.

ntomasi, going through the same issue with out 2016 500x trekk. Dealer told me water/condensation was spotted in the Rfhm. I have no idea where this module is located and how can a leak occur did you ever find where your leak was ?
