Dang. A friend(not really a car buff) is torn between the very nice, newly updated KIA Soul S and the '19 500L Lounge(a few still in Austin @ $19000). KIA has done a good job updating the Soul, IMO; even with the lower HP rating(except in the Turbo). Of course, I'm partial to the L as we have had two. She's giving up the moonroof and leather of the L for roughly the same price as the S model Soul(safety features abound; but no leather or moonroof). Brand new update vs slightly "older" , Soul is one model year newer, of course. KIA dealers are throwing around numbers like crazy; but it looks like the two prices will be right at the $19K mark before taxes/fees.
Having 5 KIA dealers in town doesn't hurt(just the one FIAT studio), not to mention the 5/60 warranty on the KIA.
