Sounds like a therapeutic for someone that is star-crossed and delusional to me.

And with all those changes, Chrysler itself ceased to be in 1998. The Daimler buyout was billed as a merger, but it was basically a marriage for money then a murder. Chrysler was profitable and innovative in the 1990s. It was profitable up to the day Daimler bought it and began raiding the bankroll and patent portfolio. Cancel Plymouth (questionable), finish production of in development models, add a slightly warmed over Benz platform and then hang it up to drip dry.

so my brother was talking about this.....

so he is not a big Fiat guy, but said something I think very nice(he is a big GM guy). "Well, I think Fiat or FCA need to come out with more cars, Chrysler need a lineup of 5-12 cars, Fiat need about 8-15 cars, Jeep should cut a few things, Ram need to cut somethings(or they should just be for business) Alfa Romeo need to add some cars."
but going over somethings I think they should do is....

Ram: just be the commercial trucks and vans.
Fiat: should me more European. I think they should bring back the 500, add a 500XL make it the size of a Jeep Cherokee, add some more small cars, Amiercanize the Fiat Toro. Add some I4 turbo diesel, I4 and some v6. Add the Ram promasters and pro master city. also make Fiat a non luxuary but higher then a brand like chevy. a inbetween luxuary.
Chrysler: sell everything that Jeep and dodge sells but its there luxuary brand or near luxuary.
Dodge: dodge be the HP brand of the FCA lineup. They kind of all ready do this in their tv ads.
Jeep: its all about advanture (I would focus a little less on jeep, and more on the other brands)
Alfa Romeo: need to get hot on cars, bring out a luxuary coupe, smaller SUV, needs another Midsize SUV, and a halo car (IE 8c).
so thats what I would do if I was incharge of Fiat in the USA. What do you guys think?
Also I was trying to be short to the point. I really hope Fiat and alfa conutine to improve and be the brand that they can be here in the usa and so people can enjoy the brands here.

PSA wanting FCAs distribution network? Peugeot has no interest in the US market and Citroen has even less. The industry is moving to EVs and manufacturers are looking for partners to share the development and future sales. FCA has more market share and little need for PSA products or development.
