    Access on Phone

My Fiat 500e was delivered this morning and I've been struggling to get it set up on my phone. I have searched the forums here and I swear I'm the only one having these problems. I have the UConnect app on my phone and I figured out that I need to go online to create an account. I did that and registered my VIN. I now see a "No Active Subscription" when I open the Uconnect app.

So, I figured I just need to get the connectivity code from my car to enter on this page:

After 1/2 an hour I found instructions that informed me that I have to use the windshield wiper button in order to access the menu and not just press the Menu button. Ugh. Well, I did that and I finally got to the Connectivity Code screen only to find that there is no connectivity code, just a blank screen.

Is this normal? I do want this app, don't I so I can prewarm my car in the cold Wisconsin winters?

If you are not the original owner of the car or if the car is older than 3 years old, the UConnect access app is not going to work. It only works for new cars less than three years old.

Wow, thanks for that information. It's a 2016 and I'm not the original owner so it sounds like I'm out of luck. So it sounds like I should just uninstall the app and come up with some other way to preheat the car. Hmmm... I have ideas.

I don't have one, but there is a thread that talks about an ap that has the same functions.

Yes, I found a thread regarding a Swiss solution and am considering the purchase of the $299 device and the yearly service that goes along with it.
