    Abarth trim piece

My 13 Abarth is pretty clean, but the little black triangle trim piece above the mirror on the passenger side is disintegrating.
The rubber is just crumbling. Before I try to pry it off and mess it up, I thought I would ask if anyone knows the correct way to remove it? Evidently it is about 40 bucks.

    Thanks
    Charlie

Those pieces are about $20 if you walk into the dealer or you can get a set on eBay for about $25

Do I have to actually walk in to get a discount?

I called a dealer parts dept. they quoted 40 bucks and would have to order it.

Another dealer quoted 30 bucks and would have to order.

It's the dealers that failed Fiat this time around.

    Thanks all for reply

This is the first time that dealer has ever sold the part. It's a good thing the part is in the country and can be here in a week.

That A pillar part, has failed on lots 500 owners cars. For years now. Lots of complaints. If you park outside, the majority of the time. The sun cooks them. A friend of mine in town here. Hes failed. He bought them at the Fiat parts department, a couple years ago.

    They're called "mirror flag covers".

There are several versions based on what type of FIAT 500 you have.
If you are under FIAT Warranty, you can walk into the Studio and they will replace them for free.

Yup replaced the drivers side flag cover on my 500. Around 15 dollars plus shipping.

Got to love this forum and it's members. Racking my brain trying to find what these are called.
Going to freshen up my car as I'm selling it later in the year. Now if I can just find some replacement radio push buttons and perfect shift knob, the new owner will be happy and I can maximize my sell. I believe the small things can make the difference. Randall
