    F1 header collection

Various headers from last 30 years of formula 1 at the scuderia. That's a lot of inconel.

Take $15k in f1 headers amd make displays and plaques with car they are from and turn them into 45 or 50k in Ferrari memorabilia.

Cast v10 ports. These were from the 3 valve era I believe . Vw waa using 3 intake valves not long after they arrived in formula 1.

The v8 kers and some v10 headers are pretty neat. Each exhaust valve has a seperate exhaust port that merges the cylinder exhaist flow in the header. Not in the head like a typical engine. The v8 2.4 liter kers era car were limited to 4 valves and one plug. A cool bit of trivia. Per its dimensions, the space it takes up, the spare plug is the heaviest part on a formula 1 car

No on production cars. They introduced a 3 valve head not long after it hit f1.

I dont know what's happening for 2021, but I have a feeling another f duct or 2013 kers traction managment type moment is gonna come around soon. Just past few weeks have been as exiting as it gets with ferraris renewed pace even at tracks that arent supposed to favor their car. All the drama between leclerc and vettel, it's a turning out to be another great season.

The only thing I'm scared of, is they might eventually try and change corners instead of rules to slow the cars down. That would be a shame. Everytime new regulations try to slow down the cars, the engineers find a way. Currently, the hybrid stuff, they have nearly 100% efficient the petrol motors, 46% thermal efficient. There are huge gains to be made in the piston engines, amd that's were they are looking now. Gonna be exiting stuff in years to come.
