I don't think it will affect anything until long after warranties run out. I bought a Neon the last weeks they were selling them and they were still covered... including 13 years of oil changes. You'll simply have to take your car to a Dodge dealer.

After all, there are a lot of Jeeps using the same parts.

yup thats what the fiat dealership told me years ago when i asked that question. the dodge dealerships will have to service the warranty even if fiat completely left the u.s. market.

Look at your local Dealership listings. They are almost all "CJDRF" now.
    Chrysler, JEEP, DODGE, RAM, FIAT.

Now you'll have to take the red headed step child (FIAT) into a DODGE Dealer that hates FIAT, and has always hated FIAT.

All these safety nannies on the new cars are keeping me away from buying another car.
And most look like it came out of a scifi movie
Preach. I was overseas recently and rented two different cars in two different countries. There is no way a casual user can find all of the controls to operate the car in the time you have. Going back behind the wheel of the 500 was a relief.

Our FCA dealership won’t do warranty work, on any Fiat. Where I purchase my car. They sold the franchise. Or any other 12 FCA dealership here in town. They will perform basic maintenance. Only a authorized FCA/ Fiat dealership can perform warranty work a Fiat vehicle. Where they employ trained Fiat technicians. FCA will carry OEM parts for the Fiat vehicles. For a period of 10 years.

It would be nice if FCA, does what GM did. When they dropped the Pontiac and Saturn brands. Chevrolet, Buick, and Cadillac performed warranty, and service work. For those two discontinued car brand.

I'm not a fan of the franchise system, but I get good service from my local dealership. They ARE a higher volume dealer than most, and they are committed to both Fiat and Alfa.
