Not sure if its because of this specific tire or because the tread is brand new, but the car is definitely stopping better now when the braking (roads are dry).

How are the noise levels? That was one item noted in testing. Yeah, it could be that they are new. Handling on dry/wet should be very similar (new vs new). I'd put them on my car when needed, but by then my size won't be available.

I have a set of the Quatrac tires on my 2015 500 pop daily driver/winter car on stock 15 inch alloys. I live in the mountains of central Pa and the winters tend to be pretty rough. First thing both my wife and I noticed was how quiet and smooth the tires were on dry roads and I run a rear seat delete in the car so I hear it all, second wet traction is exceptional and snow and ice traction is very good. They were a big step up from the Goodyear tires that were on the car when I purchased it not sure if they were OEM. I work from home so my winter driving is more for "pleasure" than trying to beat the clock to work. I like to leave the first tracks in the snow. Living in the mountains I also have my choice of twisty roads and these tires again handle very well for what they and the car are capable of. All in all I'm very happy with my decision. Vredestein does also make a line of performance tires, my 2017 Abarth is going to need tires when I get it out in the spring and I have considered giving a set a try can't be any worse than the 11,000 miles I got out of the OEM Pirelli P Zero Nero's.

Just an update--tires doing very well so far. We had torrential rain on Sunday and my car performed excellent in those conditions. There is no way the pirelli's could have done as well as these from my experience/in my opinion...I'm sure they will do well in the snow as well, but as far as rainy conditions I was amazed at how well my car was doing compared to the rest of traffic...This was on a highway going 65mph while everyone else was going around 50mph...I hit a couple huge buildups of water and it was pretty scary to hit those but the car just stayed right on track with hardly any wavering...At one point there was a green light that went yellow right at that pain in the butt point where you know you can't make it and the back of the car got a little squirly but I have to say these tires seem to have really helped during that situation as well...I could be wrong, but they seem way better than the stock pirelli's under these conditions...
