    Valve Seals

I have a 2012 500 pop. and it puts some small oil smoke out its tail pipe only at startup (not all the time)
with my knowledge in repairs. I am to think it's to be the valve seals.
that is one job that I have never worked on.
so has anyone hear tried this. and if so with digging this deep into an engine is there anything else I should consider replacing outside of the timing belt. Or just have knowledge on this? Can this oil smoke belong to a different problem?
    any help will be appreciated

As a thought, before tearing into the engine, you might try replacing the PCV valve, clean the box and replace the box O-ring... if it hasn't been done recently.

How many miles on this car? Unless you have over 150,000 miles on the clock, I doubt you have worn oil seals. Map is correct. Check the PCV system before you start throwing parts at the vehicle. They may be small, but they're no small block Chevy valve job to work on, that's for sure.
