Just popping in here to get us back on track. This is an informative thread, so let's stay on the technical side of things and not get into personal stuff or name calling. It is better to explain why someone's theory is wrong, than to trash someone. We're all brainstorming here to help, and each comment can move us in the right direction if we handle it right. Thanks!

Quick update. I haven't gotten new plugs yet because of personal things going on right now. But today was the first day that the temperature had dropped a little bit. Like high 70s and low 80s. On my lunch break I decided to push the car a little to see how it likes the cool air. I did a total of three wot pulls in 3rd gear and the car was fine with no stutter/misfire. Not sure what that means but I'll update again if the stutter comes back.

Well that's great. If anything, I think this is just more evidence its jist ignition breakup. It's so variable. Since the car is running great, try and give it hell often. That helps keeps the plugs clean.

Will do. I'll get on it more after work and tomorrow. I'll update if it comes back.

Yea 9s are a pretty cold plug. Typically only used in very high performance, high revving engines. The dpr9 plug is the oem plug for a couple Ducati and the f360 and f430. A cold plug like this needs to see wot frequently to stay in good shape.

I also want to take note that the AC was off during these pulls due to it being cooler outside if that makes a difference.

Dofferent load on electrical system. Could potentially effect ignition output. Not sure. Do some experimenting and see if it comes back. If your not wanting to replace plugs, at least try carefully tighten gap slightly and see if that helps. You shouldnt have breakup regardless of load on electrical. A loose .25 gap is really .26 or .27. It varies if your not experienced.

I do plan on replacing the plugs cause it's a easy fix just not at the moment. But I'll do some experimenting .

Air/fuel ratio could be a contributing factor (maybe even be the whole problem). The cooler outside temperatures you had for your lunch break pulls would result in slightly denser air which would raise the air component of the air/fuel ratio. If the problem is a transient over-rich condition (too-rich-to-burn air/fuel ratio) the slight change in air/fuel ratio induced by lower outside air temperatures might be enough to correct the issue.

All this would be relevant on a carburetor. Thanks for the input!
