Fiat Abarth Racing - Oops and crashes

I love watching Abarth's racing and I have to admit they do hold up pretty well in a crash. Here you go to see for yourself.

    so cool-really good watch!

i thought the 2nd one was soooo funny!! poor driver just mis-judged the h-u-g-e amount of space needed for a fiat to accomplish a 350° turn lmao.

schoolboy error. use the handbrake next time mate...or the reverse gear. either way, get your spatial awareness in check too

These are Italians... they don't use brakes!

2 things seemed obvious... white cars cause 2/3 of accidents and they need 4WD.

It seem like a lot of crashing. I don’t watch racing though. Is that normal? To me it looked like some were getting caught up by the draft. Fun to watch.

I assume, if this is semi-pro racing, this footage came from accident reviews. It does look like an exciting sport, doesn't it?

You tend to get more crashes in those classes, but I'd assume this would be footage from a multiple seasons? I was surprised how well the cars took to being rolled.

I've been trying to find out when these races are live so I can try and hunt them down on my Tiger Stream. There are a couple of Abarth Clubs I follow on Youtube, especially Abarth Club Marbella that has some really nice videos of what their club does.

Try youtube for "Trofeo Abarth". (Abarth races... actually Trophy Abarth.)

Trofeo Abarth a Monza 2018 was an interesting race, but the vid I saw was mostly the highlights.
