    Ok, since both Madness & Aeroflow neither one have the Spats anymore, I have decided to make my own.

    Started with a piece of cardboard to get the size and shape I wanted. Once I was happy with that, I transferred it to a piece of plywood.
    Cut it to shape and sanded it all nice and smooth on the edges. Took the .090 thickness aluminum and did a rough cut slighty outside all the lines.
    Used 3m double sided tape to stick aluminum to the wood pattern. With WD40 took keep the router bit lubricated, I used an edging bit to follow the pattern and cut out a nice smooth edge spat. Just did some fine sanding on the edges to round it a little bit. Then marked where I wanted the bend and locked it in my vice between two pieces of wood. Then took a large piece of wood to push it over the bend angle. Scuff with 3M pad, cleaned with alcohol, primed, painted and clear coated.
    It worked really well and the spats came out so much nicer than I even thought they would.
