Wow, a '59 NSU Prinz. A whopping 20 HP and the first year of the synchro tranny.
To go along with small, these are the Sinclair, HMV Freeway, Elcar, and Citicar. I only saw one Peel, but was able to tinker on each of these. The Sinclair is now being called a Velomobile, but was sold as an auto, in the day.

I once owned the car that was titled as the first HMV electric. (It was a bogus mfgr title to avoid CA tax, when the actual first car was returned under warranty.) The Freeway was the only car in this lot that was available with ICE power.
Then Sir Clive Sinclair's dream car. Cheap, got around road tax, and younger drivers could operate w/o a license.
