    Falken 615+'s......

Anyone using them as a daily tire for summer only use? If so, how do you like them overall? Thanks.

Used these last year, I was daily driving them and lapping every second week. Awesome tires they are very sticky which is expected from a 200tw tire, they just wont last long I got about 6,000km out of them, I did do a lot of lapping though so considering it's not too bad. They run very skinny though I showed a comparison between those and my firestone indy 500s and it's a big difference, I pasted the link below, scroll down and you will see the pics, the firestones have a perfectly square setup, if I would buy the rt615s again it would 100% be in 215/40 size, they are really skinny :S

Thanks, I checked it out. I'm figuring the 615 out gripped the Firestone correct?

I just checked the tire specs and the 615 is on par size wise to the OEM pirellis but yes, a bit smaller than the Firestone as the indy runs wide and a bit taller than OEM hence the rubbing issue that people have

I just got a set of the Firestone's after all the good feedback and at least they're a great upgrade over the Pirellies that I've always used.

My 615+’s have been very good so far. They are mounted on CV-2’s measuring 7.5x17 et30. I was running Cooper’s and the Falken’s are quieter which I found strange but hey I’ll except that. They are somewhat wider on a 7.5” wide wheel. They look cool too.

615s are my favorite tire, to date, on the 500. No rubbing at all with the size you mentioned on Neu-f springs and small spacers (5mm). They don't last long, but the grip is amazing. Much stiffer tire than the Pirellis, so major upgrade. Wet performance is not great, but not as bad as some of the extreme summer tires (RS-RRs for example). Just watch the tread on them because they do go bald in a hurry if you are driving hard.

What can I expect under normal driving conditions for wear? Just wanted something fun on the street but don't really push it but like knowing it's there if I need it.

I got almost 18 months out of mine, so probably around 10k miles of "fun" miles. However I pushed them way too far, they still worked okay in the dry but were dangerous in the wet.
