Product Review: Chemical Guys Ecosmart Waterless Wash and Wax

As many of you may already know, I have moved recently to OK. The place we are renting does not have a place for me to wash my car using traditional methods. I have had a bottle of Chemical Guys Ecosmart Waterless Was and Wax sitting in my detail arsenal untouched. They have a lot of diy car washes in Stillwater, but the brushed can cause tons of paint damage since the bristles in the brush had tiny rocks lodged in it and a ton of caked up red clay. While I did use the pressure washer to knock of some of the big dirt/debris, and in the case of my wife's Subaru, built up red dirt in the wheel wells, I didn't use any of the soaps/waxes dispensed. The pictures posted are the results of using a lot a microfiber towels and the Ecosmart.

I must say, I'm quite pleased with the results I got from one product. All in all, it took an entire bottle to do my wife's Forester and my 500T. Using Ecosmart was very easy; spray on, wipe off in one direction with a clean microfiber towel using a rolling motion, then buff with another clean microfiber towel. It works on all painted surfaces, plastic trim, glass, and metal surfaces. I followed up with V07 Quick Detailer and Spray Sealant, Signature Glass Cleaner, and Silk Shine. Unfortunately, I ran out of product and couldn't do my wheels.

In conclusion, I think this is a great option for someone who likes to detail their car, but doesn't have the means to use hose or bucket. Likewise, if you live in an area where you need to conserve water, this a viable solution.
