    brilliant find - I suppose this is good info for anyone using a third party who doesn’t regularily work on 500’s. And your red seats still look awesome

    Love the white! I traded with a buddy for a couple days and realized I love cabrio 500's!

    Great choice!

    I'm partial to red interiors.

    That's my former 1997 Z3 2.8.

    agreed - red interiors are superb. There are a few exterior colours which don’t work, but not many...

    You really need to quit teasing me with those Z3 photos. Seriously cool car. Great taste. (Though, we knew that already based on your newest car ;] )

    Here are pics of my other former cars. You’ll approve.

    Best vehicle I ever owned : my 1999 4Runner (had it 8 years, rare manual tranny version, 2 inch lift, 32s, many more mods):

    Being used as intended :

    My 1999 E36 M3, which replaced the Z3 (intake, Turner headers, Shark Injector chip, OBD-1 intake manifold, carbon fiber hood):

    My 2005 Legacy GT (replaced the 4Runner, had it 8 years too, went 5 times to Florida from Quebec with and the kids, manual, Limited trim, 330hp, red Brembo STi brakes, Japanese Spec B Rev.A suspension and 25mm/25mm sway bars = the ultimate sleeper) :

    Also had a Samurai for a while, to tag long with the 4Runner off road :

    And the off course, my current 2014 GLK 250 diesel :

    Ahhhhhh... finally took her home Monday night.

    A few observations :

    - It sounds even better than I remembered;

    - This car IS an ergonomics puzzle;

    - The stock stereo sucks;

    - For a $h!tbox with 62k miles (in my case), it is not rattle-free, but I expected a lot worse;

    - God it sounds good;

    - There is a ding on the pass side that I hadn't seen, and that'll need fixing;

    - The clutch is very easy to operate;

    - The pass. side rear bumper reflector has lost its reflective part. That'll need fixing as well;

    - Dumbass dealer ordered the wrong strut mounts, so the shot ones are still on the car; they'll ship them to my office and I'll fix these myself - got a full tank of gas for my troubles;

    - It may not be the fastest thing in the world, but it's a crapload of fun;

    - Did I mention how good it sounds? Holy hell those backfires...

    Now, I got boxes full of mods waiting to be installed. Watch this space...

    What! You've been waiting this long? I thought you've been driving this whole time.

    Hmmm, my 2013 is almost exactly at 62k and this sounds about right. Better than most VWs I've owned. XD

    Friendly suggestion: Make a fresh thread in the "owners and their cars" or "build threads" sub forums.

    Glad you've finally picked up your Scorpion, enjoy!

    First - yes, the sound is a big smiley face every time I step on the throttle.
    Yes - the stereo sounds like crap, even the Beats farce. But since mine's under warranty, haven't decided yet whether to tinker.
    Yes - a crapload of fun
    Now the backfires - do you find you can trigger them at will, aka a certain rpm between certain gears at certain speeds? I've haven't be able to duplicate this at will as of yet
