How hard was it? I regret having someone do mine. On my Abarth I always loved taking it apart with friends to do things like springs, etc. On the X I was nervous to attempt it so had a shop install them. Also regretted it after they charged me for like 6 hours to do it.

Oh it’s been a pain in the Butt. But I see why the shop time. Going slowly into the unknown and using the rented J hooks (very slowly and carefully), I had probably 7 hours in it yesterday. I got both fronts back on the ground and have to put the plastic wheel well liner back on the passenger rear. The driver rear should go fast; after using the hooks to compress the first rear, I realized I couldve leaned on it to compress it enough.

Haring while youre around, still got that muffler?

I have the stock exhaust which one day will go out for trash collection or metal recycling and the old Magnaflow muffler that was cut off it has the tip still. Otherwise the dual tips I was running sold with the X

So a little update: I did finish the car but in the first test drive I noticed a rattle in the passenger front. I buggered up the threads on the passenger front sway bar link. So now I’m waiting for the replacement to get here.

I did measure the car before and after. The front is 1.25” lower and the rear is 1” lower.

Harring, can you pm a pic of the magnaflow to me?

And done. I’m so much happier with the look of it. Time will tell on the damping, it doesn’t seem a little soft. But Bilsteins are available now for Renegades.

Im also researching a hunch that Dart sway bars will fit...

a little rougher and maybe a little under dampened but, it’s over 50k miles too so those aforementioned Bilsteins will probably do the trick. Either way it’s an improvement. I love how it looks and enjoy driving just a bit closer to the ground.
