    Anyone seen a 2018 1957 Edition at a dealership?

I canít find any when I do a build at FiatUSA. Lots of Popís, but no 1957ís. Iíd like to test drive one. Thatís not likely, eh? Hereís a review, a good one, but also pointing out that 500 sales are sinking faster than the Titanic. Ouch: https://www.topspeed.com/cars/fiat/2...-ar182702.html

My friend (not sure if on here) picked one up a few weeks ago. The blue one. Try Florida dealerships for stock. When I was looking for my orange Cabrio they were the only dealerships with any.

Florida for some reason gets all the cool stuff.

btw...I wish our Turbos had the front badge on the link you posted. Nicer than what we really get and that retro chrome badge piece looks great too.

Isn’t that bizarre - I’ve found a bunch of Abarth’s in Texas, Alabama and Florida, while none exist in SoCal. Thanks, at least I can see their pricing. While not an Abarth, the 135hp Turbo would be stronger than me KIA Niro, and that works pretty well. I like the 57’s stying, and color combos...

UPDATE - after reading the window sticker, it turns out the stupid ‘fixed glass roof’ is standard, NOT optional. Well that was a short love affair....

guess I’m back to Abarth shopping

Looking at the actual photos of the blue 1957 edition shows that it has NO glass roof.

Well yeah, from the side that appears to be the case, yet the window stickers all say ‘fixed glass roof’ as standard...

I would talk to the dealer and make sure before giving up. The interior photos show the headliner and NO glass roof. Standard does not mean that it is on that particular model as standard gets overridden by certain non standard options. For example a standard shift transmission is standard but the automatic transmission gets rid of it. Standard stereo gets replaced by optional GPS stereo, etc... On the 1957 edition it gets a TWO-TONE WHITE painted roof which would take the place of the glass roof. My 2017 POP said it came STANDARD with the front license plate but it did NOT come with it and I had a conversation with the very large Fiat dealer that sold it to me while I was at the dealer buying the car. All of the Fiats on the lot showed they had the front standard plate mount but NONE had it because it was in NC that does not require a front plate. I am from VA where it is required so I demanded they provide the STANDARD equipment that was on the listing and I was told by salesperson and management they would not provide it as it is in fact NOT standard as the car was sold in NC.

ok, the only way to know is, as you say, have a dealer eyeball it. But those fixed-glass things are rubbish. lol. But this 1957 thing, it’s kind of fun...

I understand completely about the glass roof - I cannot fit in a 500 with a sunroof as it reduced the head clearance too much - I am too tall at 6'2" and my head hit the ceiling. That is why we got the standard POP model and the NON TURBO automatic (I hate turbos) so I had to get a left over 2017 model on 1/5/19 - If I want to go fast I have a new Corvette in the garage. I REALLY like the 1957 edition too - Blue would be my choice.

They really should offer a '57 Abarth...
