    Uhm... how did you get 16 A from the OEM cord?
    I get only 12 A, that is 1.44 kW at 120 V or 2.88 kW at 240 V.

    Still, 2.88 kW seems to be sufficient for now, when it is warmer. I bet before winter I will "spring" for Level 2.

    I put a kill-a-watt on the cord and measured 1365 watts at 110v. Guess I overstated it.

    Isn't it limited to 1350 W? At 120 V it would make 11.25 A (more or less). I have one as well. Nice too. Just a bit slow comparing to this thingy below.

    Yes, it is setup at 240 V now.

    Max current I see is 12 A and 2.88 kW charge rate.
