Anyone using the Open Flash Tablet tune for their Abarth?

If so, likes or dislikes? I'm really considering this option. Not happy with my RRM tune.
I don't drive hard 100% of the time so it detunes itself. I want a flash that is always there when I want the power but, can still drive normally.
How much boost does it produce?

    I'm running the oft.

The car has been running great. I'm on the stg 2 tune and I see about 22psi all the way to redline. The powerband is pretty smooth and predictable. With sport mode on it can get a little snappy at low speeds, but other than that I haven't had any issues. My only real complaint would be that i can't disable cels and built in launch control would be cool to have.

Shiv takes a couple days to respond to emails, but other than that everything is pretty solid.

22 lbs of boost huh? I wonder if its the same for the Abarth?

My RRM, when it is tuned in right gets around 25 lbs of boost on the Abarth

Boost varies, stage 2 targets 24psi in a standard environment. I liked the OFT feeling but the OFT promise of being "open" and inability to dial out check engine lights is a no go. Why not give Tork at damnfastdd a try? Speedmotive tunes are also very good and are very affordable.

I was getting 23 peak tapering to 20ish on stage 1. I saw 23/24 pretty much thru entire range on stg2. On long pulls, thru multiple gears, as car got rrally hot, both stages would run about 20psi in higher gears. Like if I did a 3,4,5, pull. Boost would drop a bit in 5th gear. A lot safer than a piggyback. That was when my car had a crappy intake and stock ic. With good intake and intercooler, I'm getting my target boost always. It knows everything that's going on with car and adjusts accordingly I dont know what he means about the tunes not being open. They are a standard xdf, useable with a few different programs.

I've been running OFT for almost 3 years now with no issues. Ran Stage 1 for almost 2 years until I finally installed a FMIC, NGEN coilpacks and new plugs and flashed to Stage 2. Power delivery is smooth and consistent. I do not have an aftermarket boost gauge. Based on the stock gauge, requested boost consistently hits 24-25 lbs in Stage 2. It's plenty enough power for me.

What additional parts are required for stage 2? I've heard varying stories.

There aren't any real required parts. A bypass valve is recommended by openflash for stage 2 boost levels to avoid leaks. Obviously the car is going to make more power longer with a good hardware and cold intake temps, but the "stage" formula is just a way to drive parts sales. So a proper cold intake, and intercooler would be good ideas for stage 2, but aren't required. The car is going to lower boost if your intake temps are really high. Its just like heatsoak people experience on stock cars. A lot of people say to close gap on plugs. I was running. 23 and car seemed to like it. Couldn't tell much difference. I'm using 4c coils and .25 now and it rips thru high rpm like a gt3 engine. Biggest thing I can say from logging these cars and seeing how they respond to mods, the v2, or nuespeed style intakes are useless in the realworld. Your better off with a drop in k&n filter. Use some kind of closed intake or something that moves filter out of engine bay.
