When should we expect 2019 fiat 500x to arrive to dealership?

I am thinking that it would be here in April or May?

I keep reading “fun to drive” but, don’t see a manual offered yet. How can something soooo slow be fun without it.

I love my 500X and keep hoping to replace it with one with a sunroof. But I won’t downgrade to get one.

Sorry, but I can’t wait for it to be here. It has a few features I have been waiting for. I guess my excitement got the best of me.

One dealer told us it kinda depends on how quickly they can get rid of existing 500X inventory. Some dealers we visited back in December still had boat loads of '18 500X's and even a few '17's brand new (with some miles, presumably from test drives and loaners). Discounts and incentives were very aggressive to help move them.

The LED headlights would be nice, so would supposedly better mpg, but we don't expect to drive ours enough per year for any difference to add up to significant $$. To me, the minor styling refresh is not very noticeable. I much prefer the fact that we ended up saving more than $10k off MSRP on a brand new '18. No way a new '19 is worth $10k more.

So I went to a so cal dealership and they sell fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Chrysler, dodge, ram, massaritti, and Ferrari. What they they didn’t know when and also was unsure if at all they would get the 2019. One salesperson told me fiat hasn’t had any changes to the cars. And also is well behind the times and needs to catch up to the jeeps in terms of safety features. This makes me a little disappointed, because I expect the fiat dealer to stand behind the product they sell, and make me excited to get another one. Even though I am still not really to buy and also not sure if I want a 500x or 124 spider.

A lot of salespeople are really misinformed like this guy. The knucklehead doesn't realize the 500X and Renegade are build in the same factory and share most if not all features. Not to be a jerk, but people like that need to be reported to the dealer principal because they are killing sales and running the brand down. For years in the old days of Fiat USA, they used to have my Blog feed on every Fiat dealer's website so they at least knew what was going on.

Please don't let what a dealer says influence your decisions. Any dealer has a store full of inventory that they want to move now. Thus the "we are not even sure if they are coming". Oh if that's the case...I'll just take that Ferrari over there :-)

+1. Renegade outsells 500X only because of the Jeep name brand recognition here in North America. My wife and I don't like Renegade's boxy styling, but that has benefits for folks that might need a bit more extra interior capacity. Then again, if you need more room than the 500X, you'd be better off going to a compact SUV. We bought a cute Ute, because my wife wanted a cute Ute.

The only main question I can’t find a answer to that is burning me up is “what should I expect the 0-60 time be?” I hope it feels a little quicker or just about as fast. I would like to see 0-60 between 6.2-8.7 I think fiat need be between that range. I don’t think it’s too much to ask for. What do you guys think ? Fiat
