2015 500L auto , transmission service? Dealer recommended

Hello all and thank you for any help.We have a 2015 500L that when booking an oil change with the dealer they have recommended getting a tranny service at the same time. vehicle has 60,000 kms on it. They say a fluid exchange should be done along with a cleaner that breaks down sludge, etc , drain 100% and add conditioner with refill. Not sure if this is necessary or not as they are offering $5000.00 worth of coverage for the lifetime of the vehicle upon completion.
Is this necessary or is it a marketing trick?
They are also suggesting a 3-part fuel injection service.
I am in Canada and we get our service done at the local Fiat dealer but information is limited as to what is actually necessary. When we call Fiat Canada they say it is up to the individual dealership, how can this be? A Fiat is a Fiat regardless of which location does the work? Am I wrong?
    Thank you for any help

Eastcoast welcome to the group. The transmission fluid change cant hurt anything. The fuel injection service probably wouldnt hurt anything either. But its your car and what does the owners maual say about servicing the car.
Also dealers like everyone else are for upsell of their services.

I was recommended the same service when my car was about 30K miles for my 500. To service the transmission that soon is just a money grabber from the dealership.
It's absolutely stupid that the manual would say that the transmission requires no service for "lifetime" of the car's life, and dealership says something different.
If the car was at maybe 100K miles, maybe I'd consider it, but not that early

The only thing i might disagree on this transmission change deal is that if there was any defects such as burrs or flaws on the gears when it was new this service would probably clean that out. Maybe there wasnt any flaws. Kinda like having insurance but hoping you never need to use it. Guys car is his own and should do what he feels is right

Thanks guys, called an out of province dealer and they suggested there is no need to be doing this at this point. They emailed me an actual service schedule from Fiat Canada and it clearly makes no mention of either service until the tranny fluid change at 190,000 kms!
It is frustrating to think not every dealer has the same interests, up-sell is one thing, maybe suggest a set of wiper blades or something less costly.
    Thanks again for your help
