Recommendations for a Shop in San Francisco: Tony's Downpipe Mode and exhaust install

    Hi all,

I approached Tony about this already but he's too busy to handle OEM downpipe mod he pioneered here. Does anyone have a good resource they can recommend in San Francisco proper to handle opening up the OEM downpipe to 2.5"? I bought a downpipe from another member to make things easier. I will give the exhaust installation to the same party to make it worth their while.

    Thanks!

How did this ever go for you in regards to increasing the flange diameter? I had also approached Tony for this but he said the same awhile back. I was thinking of just purchasing the ATP flanges and replacing the stock ones.

I went with the Corsa Forza flange and my local shop has agreed to PM the job for me. Good luck!

Yang Auto Repair in Oakland installed the Corsa Forza 2.5" flange on my spare stock cat for me.

I haven't installed it yet as I haven't decided on a cat back exhaust. But I have been looking at this neu-f clone on ebay:

You know...I have been to those guys for a previous job and have to say...they are not the best. The like to weld everything. They welded all the connections on my last exhaust system rendering it unserviceable. Its hard for them to mess up a flange weld, but I would be very skeptical.
Anyways, let us know how it goes.

Sorry this reply was meant for the Yang Auto repair comment.

I once bought an exhaust system from ebay and ended up returning it for horrible fitment issues (rubbing oil pan and many more places)- I posted a whole thread about it- funny thing is it was also installed by Yang Auto. I would make sure I pay with PayPal to avoid a loss of money. I recommend you pay a bit extra and go with MagnaFlow.
