If you're not man enough to deal with that and get them to fix it (assuming you're under warranty) then just hand over your keys and go buy a Prius.
Let's not get too carried away.

I agree that there is something wrong here if you can't take it past 3,200 rpm in 4th gear, and someone needs to step up and get you some answers before your warranty runs out. Try Fiat Cares here on the forum for starts and take it from there. You'll have to be persistent if they aren't getting back to you. Another dealership seems in order, too.

It sounds to me that the inter-cooler pipework is not connected somewhere. That's exactly the symptoms you get. The car loses all guts over 3200, because it's expecting the turbo to kick in the boost and it can't.

If the PCM was damaged during the dealership update (which is possible), then flashing an aftermarket tune is a terrible idea. Why? Because if your problems persist after flashing the tune, now the dealer can refuse your warranty based on you having flashed your PCM. Trust me they can and will do that.

Flashing a car that's currently broken is a terrible idea. Get it running right THEN flash.
I appreciate your concern but the dealerships have left me high and dry I have no other choice but I trust the work of Eurocompulsion and that's the route I'm taking. EC have a stock map to replace this bad map and try out. The surrounding dealerships know me quite well now lol Plus I finally got tired of calling Corporate (most of the time they don't even answer) and speaking to a million managers (which i believe they know my phone number by heart now lol) and getting the response that they are working on it blah blah blah. I mean who the hell says "Don't contact me. I will reach out to you once I gather all the documents from the dealerships" smh!

FYI I am still under warranty. It expires in April 2019 tho. The first time I aged out and not miles out lol

Just done a boost leak test this past weekend and no leaks at all. Held 25 psi and dropped about 1 psi per 3-4 seconds. I initially suspect the wastegate solenoid is sticking in the open position where the wastegate is opening by the higher boost but the OTHER dealership I brought it to says it is working fine. Although, I'm hesitant to believe their diagnosis nowadays lol

The dealership agrees too but they won't do anything because they submitted my data and videos to FCA engineering and no one ever got back to the dealership after two months. So, they contacted the regional office and the regional office told the dealership to return my car. The dealership even said they couldn't believe that corporate is treating me this way SMH. Its ok. I'm done looking for warranty fixes. I can fix this myself. Thanks for the advice tho!

In a way yes and no. I needed a more reliable car (and more space). The Abarth is now my project car. I didn't want to tune it because of warranty purposes but since the dealerships and FCA can't seem to get their heads out of their asses I am in the process of it now. Its kinda like a blessing in disguise lol
