Sales of all 500 and 124 models were down in all three countries. The Fiat brand sold 15,521 cars in the US during 2018, 41 percent less compared to 26,492 sold in 2017. So if I didn’t buy mine it’d have been 15,520. Woohoo. Glad I was able to help.

I can safely say that my family was a returning and new customer for the Fiat brand this year!
I returned to Fiat upgrading my 2014 500 Sport to a 2017 Abarth.
A purchase that wasn’t a necessity but just wanted an upgrade that I was going to do anyway.
And my husband bought a totally loaded tricked out 500X which he loves and still does even with the first few months of glitches he experienced.
My husband loves driving both Fiats and LOVES driving the Abarth when he gets the chance.
Both vehicles have timeless design that never goes out of style.
...we both would buy the Fiat brand again without hesitation!
I’ve never been so in love with a car before.
Happy to have purchased 2 Fiats that made those numbers this year!

Since they lowered the prices on a 500 Abarth some $2500 for the 2017 year, does anyone think they may try another price-cut for 2019 to spur sales? Which brings up an intersting point: a used 2016 doesn’t seem to take into account that 2017’s were so much cheaper, at least from the shopping I’ve been doing.

Sometime this year I plan on adding to that those sales numbers with an Abarth.

These numbers are truly sobering. Fiat can't hold on with 15k yearly sales, ''tis a mathematical certainty (cribbed from Titanic). Does that even surpass Maserati sales? Suzuki dropped out of the US with more sales then that! And with no major new models or redesigns in the near future, the writing is on the wall. Our cars will be obscure classics soon enough.

So maybe with Ford and GM basically dropping out of the car market maybe people will look at Fiats. I think read gas prices are predicted to increase by 35% soon even if the price on gas is very low right now

The two Alfa/Fiat dealers closest to me, each 30 miles in the opposite direction, have apparently taken the Fiats out of those buildings and moved them to their Chrysler lots in the same neighborhood. They’re either getting ready to dump and run, or possibly thinking they’d move more Fiats if they were next to a bunch of Jeeps and pickup trucks?
Not sure I understand the strategy, but it may also include replacing the Fiats with Maserati’s next to the Alfa’s.
Either way, to me at least, going to a Jeep building to look at a Fiat will seem like a downgrade....
