My first FIAT was bought in 1958, a brand new 600. Now working on #17, a '13 Pop. The '58 was terrific and every one since has exceeded my expectations.
Pictues-
Me and the '58 taken in '59.
Wife, Maureen, and our long term '71 500L rental in Cortina d'Ampezzo on our southern Europe trip from Venice to Zarauz, Spain, and back with many points in between.
My '13 Pop in the Blue Ridge Mountains sporting added trim and cream-colored stock OEM wheels with reproduction stainless steel 500L hubcaps and trim rings.
As an aside, I've never gone for sporty models and high power-to-weight has never appealed to me either... I prefer having to drive, hence 101 hp and 5-speeds is perfectly fine with me. As a retired industrial designer, I'm not too fond of the bloated nose on the '18s, it reminds me of a male elephant seal. I just hope the blower attracts more to this truly gangbusters car. Oh, I'm 6'2' and can sit in the back with knee room if the driver's seat is set to my minimum for safe operation. Amazing.
