Jordan was able to help out a bit. I was also able to get some traction from the folks at Bagriders. Basically UAS did not build the top mount correct, and will need to rebuild or come up with a solution to make this version fit the Fiat. I've been working with a friend who has a 3D printer to test some top hat options that would function similarly to the factory version. I've got pending emails out to UAS and hopefully will hear something back this week on how they want to proceed. It would seem that i'm the first person to get this kit.

Some news: UAS is making and sending out new components for the top of the strut. This one will fit the 58mm hole that the factory strut fits into, and they've fabricated a plate to secure it to the vehicle. Pic attached. They're still waiting on the studs, but those will be sent out once they're finished. 49899605_1548408991969390_6714338591633309696_n.jpg

Some progress has been made. UAS sent out the new top mounts and got those installed on the air struts. I spent Saturday getting everything bolted in. The rear bags and shocks are installed as well. Had to trim the bracket on the rear bag, as well as chopping the top spring cone on the car. Again, this doesn't seem very "bolt-on" but this is what i was directed to do from UAS. Overall everything fits. I am noticing there's some rubbing of the bag and strut on the drivers side rear when compressed. Hoping I can get that figured out. Next steps will be running all of the wiring and lines, but I plan on doing some loose runs first, just to make sure everything is able to hold air. I've snapped some pics showing the car sitting on the new wheels (tires not yet mounted). Front and rear can still go lower as well.

The car is currently de-registered and insurance has been reduced to almost nothing (one of the great perks of Hagerty). I'm hoping to get everything wrapped up with the suspension in the coming month. Then I'll shift focus to the fender kit, doing some small reshaping to make things fit just a bit better and reworking the weather stripping so it's more uniform. If everything goes smoothly, I may even be fortunate enough to lock in a wrap sponsorship before the end of the year. Time will tell.
