Best wishes to Fernando, assuming he'll do IndyaCar next year, but who knows, maybe he'll do WEC again and just the Indy 500? Would love to have him in the US for a full season of Indy!

Saw an article online that says Sainz will go to McLaren, which would allow Gasly to move up to Red Bull. Still lots of moves to be made for next year, and maybe some of these moves (Stroll to Force India) will happen this year?
McLaren confirms Sainz will drive for them next year!

Hear-hear!
I'm gutted to see Alonso leave like this, but I hope this means more WEC and IndyCar. He'd bring a lot more viewership to I/C for sure.

Formula 1 has reported that Pierre Gasly will take Ricciardo's seat at Red Bull next year, partnering Verstappen. I didn't see any word yet on who will then go to Toro Rosso or if Brendan Hartley will return.

Looks like the OLD Force India team will continue, but starting with this weekend will be under a new name, and part of the deal is that they will lose all the team Constructor points earned so far this year! The drivers Ocon an Perez get to keep their individual driver points, but now the pink cars drop to 10th in the team standings with 0 points. That gives Haas a bit of breathing room as Force India was right behind them.

Belgium Qualifying: First two rounds of Qualifying were dry with Ferrari fastest, and then right on cue the RAIN hit for Q3 and that mixed things up! Hamilton took poll by being on track at the end of the session when the wet track dried and suddenly everyone was 3 seconds a lap faster! Vettel still took 2nd, but the 2 Force Indias (whatever their new name is) are now sitting on the 2nd row! Some very close calls when the Q3 round started, with all cars hitting track on slick tires trying to get a time in before it was too wet, but then people were sliding all over the place, and most of them aborted that first lap. Kimi had gone fastest, but then with the rain and pit stop he wasn't fueled enough to go out for another shot at poll when the track got quicker.
Interesting to see how much the times slowed down, from dry qualifying around 1:41, the rain hit and for a while the poll time was about 2:01, twenty full seconds slower! Amazing cars with the technology, downforce, tire grip, etc.
Bad day for Williams and McLaren, with all of those cars stuck in Q1, Bottas and Huldenberg will take big grid penalties for changing components and start at the rear of the field. Big chance for the Haas team to possibly even pass Renault for 4th in team points, with both Grosjean and MAG in the top ten to start, Sainz around 16th and Hulkenberg next to last.
Not sure if it will be dry or wet for the race, but with two 4 time champs starting 1-2, HAM and VET can duke it out, hopefully avoid hitting each other, and if anything happens we might see a Force India grab a podium spot.

Race day update: Sainz and Vandoorn also take grid penalties and will start behind Bottas and Hulkenberg. Should be a dry race. Lots of action to come!

Wow 2 weeks off the grid and the F1 world is spinning out of control. Major reshuffles happening everywhere. LeClerk going to Ferrari and Kimmi back on his first F1 team ever, Sauber and I must say I'm exited about it. Kimi will be driving a Alfa Romeo with a Ferrari engine ( Sauber, have found their groove again and the cars are showing, in qualy and race trim). Fernando is OUT #crashgate!! some unnamed teenager will drive for McLarenwho is Norris? what else will happens before season ends?!Lewis seems to be in control of the Championship and well deserved points gap; however Ferrari has the best car.
but the worst strategy and pit stops , Mauricio must go and Vettel needs to get it together. its been a great season thus far and ain't over yet.

What's a Abarth?...... Glad you ask! Abarth is a small demon that will possess your soul and inspire you to get steezy at every opportunity.

panem et circenses. Latin, literally "bread and circuses," supposedly coined by Juvenal and describing the cynical formula of the Roman emperors for keeping the masses content with ample food and entertainment.
Some big changes in the driver scene, and we're still not done with this season. HAM takes pole in Singapore, with MAX right beside him, so the start for tomorrow's race should be good! VET only 3rd, so he needs a good start too. Grosjean not bad in 8th, ahead of both Renault cars, so let's hope Haas can close their 10 point gap in the constructors, although MAG had a bad Quali and starts 16th.
