    You haven't mentioned tire size. 215/60/17 I've had good luck with the Continental True Contact. Great in the dry and even better in the wet/snow. Smoother ride than the Nexens. Cant comment on wear. Attractive sidewall. Would buy again.

    My second choice in that size is the Pirelli P4.

        For a less expensive but still very good all around tire, you might consider the General Altimax RT43. It is available in both the standard 17 and 18 inch wheel sizes.

          Are there any agressive off road type tires that fit a Trekking/Trekking Plus model?

          I realize that you probably can't get something like a Bridgestone Revo 2 type tread pattern - but anything close?

            The Yokohama Geolandar A/T GO15 is available in the 17 and 18 inch sizes. It may not be quite as aggressive but it is close.
