    2014 500L manual air filter

    Hey everyone:

I need to replace the air filter, need suggestions, should I stick with a OEM style filter or a K&N filter? Any difference in performance or mileage? I drive mostly freeways, stop and go in freeways and about 30% city. Both types of filters cost about the same, thanks for any advice

Well I have the K&N and the intake Roar/Turbo Whoosh is a bit louder. I have a Go-Pedal as well. I see that EcoGard has replacement element (XA10318) that's only $16, on Amazon. That's a lot cheaper then the Mopar unit at $45. Can't tell if mileage is improved, might be about the same. I switched because of the cost of a new filter replacement at the time.
