    Brembo brakes on 500 Abarth?

I received a "$500 Bonus Cash Allowance" FIAT flyer/brochure the other day from FCA and in it were all the 2018 models. What caught my eye under the FIAT Abarth section was this, "Available Brembo brakes on both FIAT 500 Abarth and 124 Spider Abarth". I know the 124 Abarth has had optional Brembo's since its introduction but it's the first I've heard of this for the 500 Abarth. Am I missing something or was it just a misprint?

Seems like a logical addition. The stock brakes are plenty to stop a 2500lb car but with all the "GO" people are adding to their cars it would be nice to have a plug and play "STOP" upgrade.

No clue on if it's real however, sorry!

It appears that Eurocompulsion sells a Brembo front brake kit, so there is at least one vendor that supplies them for the 500 Abarth (aftermarket, of course).

I'd think it would be a logical addition too seeing how many 500 Abarths are modified and see track time but from the production side of things, maybe not so much. FCA seems busy reducing choices in the 500 lineup, most likely to reduce production costs.

The FIAT USA website doesn't even have the configurator for the 2018 Abarth yet, so hey, it must be a new option!!!
