2015 fiat 500 rear wheel spacers?

Before I order wheel spacers for my 500 I have some questions. Ive done research and found that the 2015 have a rear hub dust cap that hub centric spacers will not fit over. Also have read that the cap can be removed but cant find anyone who has successfully reinstalled the cap back on the spacer.

    My questions:

Any one have a success installing rear 10mm to 15mm hub centric wheel spacers on the rear of 2015 fiat 500? If so please respond.

i am not sure about the dust cap issue, my spacers fit perfectly fine over everything. I have 10 in the rear and easily could go 15mm. You can just google fiat 500 abarth 15mm spacers and you will see plenty of examples. Mind you, you can do 15mm if you keep the stock 205/40 tire size.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I’ve heard and seen tons of people with spacers but haven’t seen a 2015 yet. Only seen one forum of someone having issues putting spacers on there 2015 fiat. See link below.

Ya I have seen that post before too, not sure if its a spacer issue from otis? But I have never heard of it before besides that post. I highly doubt the HR spacers have that issue, BUT I could be wrong...

I have 12mm spacers. I used a dremel to make clearance for the dust cap... took about an hour to do 1... so I took the other one to a machine shop and they did it for $10

Yeah this is what I was afraid of. My concern of enlarging the bore size on the spacer is that they become non-hubcentric.

huh? that's not true. there is a lip inside that hits the dust cap. this extra material is for strength. When you clearance the hole, the wall gets thin, but you don't lose hubcentricity.

Did you take the dust cap to the machine shop or the space?

You don't seem to understand the issue here. The dust cap is not larger diameter than the hubcentric part. it just makes it longer.

I machined the Wheel spacer inside to make the hole deeper.
