I am liking where this thread is going. On my previous Abarth, I had the following setup (which was nice on the street

    H&R sport springs
    Neuf rear torsion beam
    El Gato Chassis Braces
    205/45-16 tires

My current Abarth will receive a similar treatment. I liked the springs and would highly recommend them for daily driving. I had the OE shocks in place, but have heard good things about upgraded Koni Yellows (especially for the rear). Those KYB shocks are sure tempting for the money....

It depends on what you want to do. I am also going to be putting a cool front lip on my car, so as long the suspension is responsive and comfortable, I don't need the super low!

With that being said, coilovers for our car are soooooo much cheaper than my MK7 GTI. Choose the setup that is right for you!
    Old Car:

    Rally Armor Mudflaps
    Forge BOV
    H&R Springs

    New car:

    2012 Nero Abarth
    Bilstein PSS Coilovers
    EC V2.1 Intake
    EC Boost Leak Fix
    GFB DV+
    Neuf Engine Torque Arm Insert

See I just wanna level out the car, I don't need/want to lower the front and turn it into a snow shovel, I live in the greater Chicagoland area, we also don't have the best roads but they're not as bad as back home in Detroit though, eeeeek! I know people have done just rear springs to level it out but what happens when you have a passenger, I don't want it lower in the rear, that would just look stupid. If I were to do this I would just go ahead and replace the stock Abarth shocks with the KYB, its a no brainer. I already have the Nue-F 28mm rear bar, RRM chassis bracing in the front and some "mystery" bar that goes between the front underneath, I also got rid of the crap tires a long time ago, that's the very best thing to do FIRST!

    Thoughts????

I agree on the tires for sure. The OE ones are not my favorite. As for evening out the height, I would go for the H&R springs. They are comfortable, don't lower the front much at all, and greatly reduced the gap in the back. I have been finding them for a great price too. I don't think you can go wrong there.

In fact, I just ordered these as I was writing this!
