Hi all,
Attached a few pictures of my 2016 Fiat 500t, 5 speed (are they all 5 speed?). Bought it new, love most things about it. I was on this forum when I first bought the car but couldn't remember username/email associated with the account so excuse the duplicate... although I didn't post much.
It's practically stock with the exception of front/back weather tech mats (great investment -- Northeast) and a complete Thule rack set up with two Yakima bike holders. I've done two 600 mile roundtrip drive, once with one bike and the other time with two bikes up top, with no issues. When the hatch opens fully, the rear glass does touch the back rubber of each bike rack, but it isn't an issue.
It has over 23,000 miles on it and is running smoothly. I'm registered for the 2018 Spring Fiat on the Dragon drive and I look forward to improving the car's handling for that drive with a Neu-F rear torsion bar and Corsa chassis braces. They both seem like the logical first step mods to invest in. Any other simple installs worth looking into for the drive?
Future mods: short shift kit and I would consider swapping my wheels for Abarth wheels. Any takers?
Also, where do 500t owners often post? In the Fiat 500 section or the Abarth section? I want to be considerate of the forum rules, if they exist for the 500t. I ask because I've seen the 500t owners in both sections asking the same question.
Nonetheless -- glad to join, again, and I look forward to all the insight and expertise you all have.
Best,
Marc
