Can't find practice and qualy schedule if I find I'll post it here.
It still irritates me that so few races air outside the cable-verse. EPL airs early matches via Telemundo... I think the same viewers are likely F1 fans.

The 3 engine change favors MB, RB and SF. So, this will be another season of following the middle of the grid.

I would like to HAAS do well and Honda reliability match what we see in Indycar.

First practice is TOMORROW, so I'm feeling much better after doing without F1 for a few months!

I agree, the 3 engines per season rule is going to impact the last half of the season, more stupid grid penalties. Still hoping for big 3 way battle at the front, and that midfield is going to be wickedly tight, looking for McLaren and even Toro Rosso getting up there, maybe Haas based on their last couple days of testing too! Good battles up and down the grid.

Just read that there will be a THIRD DRS zone in the Australia race, after turn 12, so that might spice things up a bit. Still only the first race of the season, so the Australia results won't guarantee how the rest of the season will go, but LET'S GO RACING! Supposedly the new F1 broadcast on-line will be available starting this week, so who knows. Even without that, I hope the Sky/ESPN broadcast will be better than NBCSN.

Oh, and happy birthday to Ayrton Senna, today would have been his 58th.

Glad it's back again; and at least there will be coverage!

Back in the day the English BBC coverage used to have the instrumental section of The Chain by Fleetwood Mac as the theme music; I can hear it in my head now.

F1tv NEEDS to happen sooner than later. I don't want to pay for cable to follow 1-3 sports.

100% agree with this. If they follow the INdy car and IMSA model for the amount of access as far as camera angles and live timing it is my belief that they will help the popularity of the sport in the US.

My 10 and 12 year olds love motorsport and F1, but I am afraid they are in the minority.

    Australian GP practice

Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton led Red Bull's Max Verstappen in second practice at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix.
Just 0.283 seconds separated Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari.
Hamilton was 0.127secs clear of Verstappen, although the world champion looked as if he had more potential had he not lost time on his quickest lap.
Hamilton's team-mate Valtteri Bottas was third, from the Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen.

Raikkonen's team-mate Sebastian Vettel was fifth, 0.237secs behind and appearing to struggle a little.
Haas' Romain Grosjean was an impressive sixth, ahead of Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo.
The Australian was more than 0.6secs off Verstappen but did not get a representative lap time on the fastest tyres.
McLaren's Fernando Alonso took eighth split from team-mate Stoffel Vandoorne by the second Haas of Kevin Magnussen.
The Renaults of Carlos Sainz and Nico Hulkenberg were 11th and 12th, followed by and Lance Stroll's Williams.
