Finally got around to clipping the front and rear springs together... here is the new retro inspired look:

Such a nice mix of retro/modern. Great job! (Followed your other posts about your suspension drop and appreciate all your insight and experience on them!)

Well... I have some bad news about "Buzz". There was a woman driving an Acura who pulled out of a parking lot right in front of me. I attempted to miss but I had ran out of lane to miss her - long story short, Buzz has a bit of damage. I'll know if he's totalled sometime next week. I am still fuming. GRRRRR

Noooooo! Well, as has already been said, so long as YOU are OK, that's all that really matters. When cars get totaled, it involves paperwork, some money, and annoyance. When people get totaled, we have to dress up in fancy clothes and have the worst party anybody could ever imagine.

Very sorry to hear that, after you've been doing interesting things with the car. I hope you're okay.

Well it's been awhile since I've talked about "Buzz, but let me tell you all he's alive and well, and has been serving commuter duty while I put him back together again. The insurance company did total him out, and I bought him back and repaired him here at home. The damage he received was a little extensive, all to the front right corner. Under the skin, I had to replace the spindle, control arm, radiator, and radiator support as well as take a sledge hammer and 2x4 to the frame horn in order to get the replacement parts to line up. Cosmetically, he needed a hood, right fender, front bumper, headlights, DRL's, side marker light, and right front wheel. Since I could not find the one wheel in the style that was on him, I had to replace the whole set.

He tracks straight and true now, and I'm only a couple parts away from calling him done, but I can honestly say now he looks attractive again.

    Well done.

Do you mind sharing a bit more info on the damage and costs (that is the insurance quote and buy out)?
