We're still good to go as far as the cruise in less than 2 weeks. Confirmed our reservations at Devito's Italian Restaurant for Friday evening at 5:30. Talked to Sandy at the hotel and she's still accepting the event rate for rooms as long as there's room available. If you have a 2-way walkie talkie, you can bring them. I'll will have a couple of extras and some extra batteries if needed. Our lunch stop at Ozone Burger Barn is CASH ONLY...just an fyi. See everyone there.

Not sure if I posted this or not yet...Saturday morning we'll line up around 8-ish...head out at 9. The route is 5 hrs roughly without traffic...so this should leave plenty of time for stops to take in the sites/scenery. 1st stop will be the Arkansas Grand Canyon (and should be nicer than last year)..then over to the Ozone Burger Barn for Lunch (don't forget cash), then a pitstop at I-40 Travel Center where you can get gas..bathroom break...etc. It's on the south side of the Pig Trail on HWY 23. Then off to Turner Bend Store on the Pig Trail for souvenirs...and we'll keep going...stopping at a couple of scenic overlooks before heading back to the hotel for dinner and adult beverages.
