Didn't get all you wanted for Christmas? No need to pout, the Fiat Big Finish Sale is here to fix all that. Fiat's traditional year-end sale features great offers and incentives to get you into the Fiat of your dreams. We are talking low lease deals, or zero percent financing plus cash back, or straight up incentives up to $4,500 on certain cars. And that is before any dealer discounts.

If only the immediate (extreme) drop in street value didn't kick me in the feels. Please, FCA USA, do something equal parts dramatic and meaningful.

Holy smokes those are some good prices on Abarth 124s in WI...

Naturally they are all left overs for a reason... automatic...

Agreed with Amacento... it's really tough to justify buying new when they depreciate 3x faster than their MX-5 brethren. =[

But are they? I'm curious. I haven't checked the prices, but there is a shot they do better than the other cars. Mazda is established, but the Fia does have some advantages they may make it more desirable to people looking for those features.

Ok, you caught me, this is 100% hyperbole and 0% fact. I should be more careful lest people take me at my word. =/

I honestly haven't looked either, but I have an Abarth500 bookmark on craigslist and prices of 2013-2014 low mileage examples are depreciating faster than I can pay off what I paid for mine =[.

I predict that the 124 will hold value better than the 500 due to the whole sports car/economy car dichotomy. And even if they do drop in value as fast as the 500s I predict that the people who are shelling out for them don't plan on selling them any time soon.

You know I love FIAT-ABARTH and poured many thankless hours into promoting the brand/s and national scene, but facts are facts. Most Miata people would buy the 124 used (after insane depreciation) and modify. That doesn't help the FCA numbers.

The A500, enthusiast car that it is, depreciates at breakneck speed. It holds roughly 1/5 its value over 4-5 years. The 500X depreciates at the "urban myth" rate... roughly 1/3 as you pull it off the lot. FCAUSA must do something to save the skin of the brand as well as the owners.

Another Timothy Cain hit piece highlighting his extreme anti-Fiat bias. For a guy that loves crunching numbers he always ignores and never mentions the fact that Fiat has only 200 dealers when comparing sales to the competition that has 600+. No mention that Mazda is an established brand with a huge following. Two facts are germane to the conversation and could give a little insight. His remark about the looks of the car also betray what's going on in his head. I expected more from him.

The comments after his articles are always more interesting and insightful than the piece he wrote.

    Another hatchet job of his:
