Angry Be careful when you have 18" OEM wheels!!!

Hey fellow Fiat owners! BE extra careful if you have 18" OEM wheels on your beloved Fiat. I just got a nasty flat when I accidentally over shot my left turn at red light and went up a median curb. The curb was about 6" inches high or more.

See the attached pics. $200 to replace tire at dealer. Ouch!

I have the same Wheels on my '16 Thanks for the warning. I am planning on plasti-dipping them to match the paint though. For some reason the aluminum has stains on mine that wont go away with any type of cleaner.IMG_20190101_085807.jpg

Are you sure the wheel isn't bent? I know the tire wasn't cheap; but it could have been worse!

Can happen to any wheel... any size. Hitting 6" curb is a no-no.

We have 18" for summer and 17" winter. Never had any issues with any of them. Except when the car ran over a floor jack stand that was on road... cutting the tire wide open. Brand new Michelin X-Ice. It was slow speed, at night.
